After a very long car trip to Front Royal, Virginia (From Pittsburgh!)we arrived next to the tracks in a nice spot along Happy Creek road.
We traveled many hundreds of miles to see N&W engine #611, and quite frankly, it is one of the most magnificent engines I've ever seen (It might turn me from WM to N&W!). This is the one good picture I got of this run-by, for I was in awe the rest of the time!
The ground shook as 611 thundered past, and all I could think was... wow.
